I am Zichen (James) Zhu. My research focuses on GUI agents, multimodal large language models, and tool use. I am a third-year direct-entry Ph.D. student at the School of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and am currently visiting Nanyang Technological University in Singapore through a joint Ph.D. degree program. I received my B.Eng. from SJTU's Artificial Intelligence Excellence Pilot Class with the Zhiyuan Honor Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. I attended the Top Innovative Experimental Class at Chengdu No. 7 High School.

Led and contributed to the Agent4Device university-industry collaboration, including the mobile GUI agent MobA and conversational image editing agent IEA; developed reinforcement learning frameworks and task-planning optimization algorithms, with results published at CVPR and NAACL.
Research on multimodal large language model training, inference, and evaluation; LLM-based multi-agent control; tool use; experience summarization and knowledge sharing; and LLM reliability analysis and algorithms.
